Oneonta Parade Cancelled;

But Cooperstown’s Goes On,

Although CCS Band Pulls Out

Anticipating heavy rain by the 7:30 start time, the City of Oneonta has cancelled this evening’s Halloween Parade on Main Street, although trick or treating will continue as planned, 3:30-6 p.m.

The Village of Cooperstown’s parade, which begins earlier – before predicted rain, will start as planned at 5 p.m. from Cooper Park, next to the Baseball Hall of Fame, although the Cooperstown Central School marching band has pulled out of the event.   A Gecco (John Hodgson) will lead the celebrants up Main Street to the fire hall.
