IN MEMORIAM: Jimmie Laing, 40, OHS Graduate

ONEONTA – It is with great sadness that the family of James “Jimmie” A. Laing IV, 40, of Oneonta, announces his passing on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, of ill health.

Born March 29, 1977, Jimmie will be forever remembered by his parents, James A. Laing III and Vickie L. Laing, his sister Renee M. Knapp (Jeremy J. Knapp), his nephews Jack B. and Jacob A. Knapp. Jimmie will also be forever remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Jimmie was a graduate from Oneonta High School, Class of 1995. He had a love for the gaming community. He was known for his kind heart and devotion to his nephews and the ones he loved.

There will be no services as per Jimmie’s wishes.

“You know the place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I will always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.”
