Evangelist Charles F. Barrett is coming to Cooperstown. The great union evangelistic campaign in Cooperstown, for which preparations have been going on for the past three months, will begin next Sunday evening. The services during the first week will be held in the Methodist Episcopal Church, where an enlarged gallery will be constructed for a choir of 45 members. The church itself will be seated to accommodate over 600 people. Barrett is a man with a message, and all report him to be a brilliant preacher. He objects to offensive forms of personal work in his services. Of Irish parentage, Mr. Barrett’s addresses flash with wit and are sweetened by humor.
