Country Sounds Fill ‘Coffee House’

Entering 2nd Year In Schuyler Lake

The sounds of “I’ll Fly Away,” the most recorded Gospel song in history, filled the Schuyler Lake United Methodist Church Coffee House a few minutes ago as the monthly gathering of local musicians enters its second year. Performers included, from left, Sue Straub, Ron Lytle, Julie Huntsman, guitarists Patsy Lyons and Dan Buell and, in the foreground, Coffee House organizer  Tim Peters on mandolin, who – coincidentally – was celebrating his birthday. The Coffee House convenes 7-9 pm. on the fourth Saturday of every month. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
