Husband, 6 Children Among Survivors

ONEONTA – Estella Marie Snyder, 86, of Oneonta, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, in Fox Nursing Home.

She was born on May 11, 1932, to John and Rosella (Weaver) Shafer in Jefferson. Estella preferred her middle name and was known throughout her life as Marie. She was a homemaker primarily but worked later in life at various businesses in Oneonta until retiring in 2003.

Estella married Robert R. Snyder on Dec. 7, 1951.
