COOPERSTOWN – Trustee Cindy Falk, who chairs the Streets Committee, this evening proposed adding Chestnut Street between Main and Lake to three other streets where paid parking may be expanded this summer.

The Village Board, at its monthly meeting at 22 Main, unanimously concurred (Trustee Joan Nicols was absent), and set a public hearing for its February meeting on the 23rd for Chestnut and the three other sections where Pay & Display machines would be added.

Those other sections are: Fair, from Main to Lake; the north side of the length of Church Street, and River Street between Main and Bassett Hospital.
