Friends Remember Harold Ray,

A Man Who Reached for the Stars

More than two dozen friends of Harold Ray, The Arc Otsego’s inaugural recipient of its Reach for the Stars Award in 2016, remembered him during a memorial today at Arc’s  Lower River Street campus, with tears, laughter and admiration for his passionate advocacy for rights of the disabled. Mr. Ray passed away on Jan. 26, 2019, at age 75. Pictured are his close friends, Joe Pagillo, left, Vicky Marino in back, Ray Morgan, right, and Ben Vernooy, in front. (Jennifer Hill/AllOTSEGO.com)
