FIREWORKS – Dusk. Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department will be presenting the Independence Day Fireworks at Lakefront Park, Cooperstown.

ICE CREAM – This summer, Sing a Song of Broadway theater company has partnered with the Golden Guernsey for the ‘Welcome Back!’ program to provide up to 100 free icecreams to children up to age 10. Golden Guernsey, 15 Main St., Oneonta.

AUTHOR SERIES – 2 p.m. Celebrate Larry Dobby, the first Black player in the American League, and learn the story of the 1947 world series with Luke Epplin, author ‘Our Team: The Epic Story of Four Men and the World Series That Changed Baseball.’ Followed by Q&A session.
