GRAND SLAM – 8 – 10:30 p.m. Top poets from qualifying poetry slams compete for 5 spots on SUNY Oneonta poetry slam team to compete at regional, national levels. Free, open to public. Waterfront Room, Hunt Union, SUNY Oneonta. 607-436-3013.

THEATER – 7:30 – 9 p.m. Performance of ‘Disgraced’ by Ayad Akhtar, winner of 2013 Pullitzer Prize for drama. Play portrays dinner party going out of control as discussion turns to politics & religion. Goodrich Theater, SUNY Oneonta.
