‘Santa Lucia’ Avers

Patricia Fiorent Slater and Father Dane Boston Friday perform a ritual surrounding the song, “Santa Lucia,” that will be posted early tomorrow morning (Sunday) on the Christ Episcopal Church website and Youtube.  “Santa Lucia is a Swedish-Italian tradition that is honored all over the world,” said Patricia, whose husband, Eric, produced the video.  “On Dec. 13, it celebrates that light shines in the darkness, and even in our darkest December days light still prevails.”  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
