Women’s March in D.C.

Ellen Phillips, a member of Butternuts Valley Indivisible, holds up a sign calling out Vice President Mike Pence’s treatment of the LGBTQ community as the Women’s March 2019 gets underway in Washington D.C. this morning.  At right, Everett and Tom Pondolfino pause on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with their sign, encouraging Congress and President Trump to end the partial government shutdown that has lasted 25 days. Members of Butternuts Valley Indivisible took a bus overnight to attend the third annual march, which they also attended in D.C. in 2016.
