Mohawk Valley Gives Raises Record $355,000

SPRINGFIELD—Mohawk Valley Gives, a regional online-giving day supported by the Community Foundation of Otsego County, announced it had a banner year in 2025.

More than $355,000.00 was raised during the week of September 15, surpassing last year’s results by nearly 18 percent, officials said in a press release. Giving culminated on September 19. Over 920 donors made 1,670 contributions in support of the 85 participating Otsego County nonprofits.

“CFOC is proud to have again partnered with the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties and the UpMobility Foundation to participate in Mohawk Valley Gives 2025,” the release reads. “The partnership played a pivotal role in the success of the fundraising efforts, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening and supporting Otsego County’s nonprofits and the community they serve.”

“CFOC would also like to thank all our many donors and our sponsors,” said Executive Director Jeff Katz.

Lead sponsors included The Robert and Esther Black Family Foundation, The Robert and Esther Black Family Foundation at The Richland County Foundation, and New York Central Mutual Insurance. Additional sponsors included Eva Davy, Social Eats Café, Steve Zerby Design/Build, SUNY Oneonta and Wayne Bank of Cooperstown.
