OHS Soccer Goes Farthest

In Years, But It Ends Today

Oneonta’s Tanner Beang scored the Yellowjackets’ first goal of the day this morning against West Hill in the state quarter-finals in Syracuse. In the end, though, West Hill scored a third goal with two minutes to go and toppled OHS’ best soccer team in a decade, 3-2. It was quite a game, though, with the two teams at 1-1 through most of the first half, and 2-2 for much of the second. Matt Silk scored Oneonta’s second goal. (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
