IN MEMORIAM: William F. Evans, 81, Oneonta

William F. Evans

ONEONTA – William Frank Evans passed away at his home on Jan. 23, 2019,  following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Oneonta on July 29, 1937 to Jack and Ruth (Rider) Evans.

Bill is survived by his cherished wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; his beloved daughter, Arley and her husband, Alexander Lau, and two grandchildren, Tyler and Emma of Oneonta.  He is also survived by his brother, Robert and his wife, Carol and their children, Eric and wife, Trish of Otego and daughter, Alison and husband, John Dymowski of Wellington, Fla.

He was predeceased by his parents.

He will be laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery in Oneonta at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catskill Area Hospice, 297 River Street Service Road, Oneonta, NY 13820 in Bill’s name.

Arrangements are by Oneonta’s only family-owned funeral home, Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono at 51 Dietz Street.  Online condolences to the Evans Family may be made at, www.lhpfuneralhome.com
