Gibson Aboard ‘Toys For Tots’ Train,

Stops In Oneonta With Santa, Soldiers

Kate Thomas, Kinderhook, an Army volunteer for Toys For Tots, sought out Congressman Chris Gibson in the crowd at their Oneonta stop this afternoon to thank him for representing her hometown. Kate Thomas, Kinderhook, an Army volunteer on the Toys For Tots train, sought out U.S. Rep. Chris Gibson, R-19 – himself a Kinderhook resident – in the crowd at the train’s Oneonta stop this afternoon to thank him for representing her hometown. The train, carrying Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, service members and Amtrak President/CEO Joe Boardman, made 11 stops in New York State today, handing out toys, cookies, coats and hats to children and families along the route.
