IN MEMORIAM: Christina Schermerhorn, 69;

Lifelong Oneontan Hairdresser, Office Clerk

Christina (Burdick) Schermerhorn

ONEONTA – Christina L. (Burdick) Schermerhorn, 69, a lifelong Oneontan, passed away July 28, 2019, at Bassett Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

She was born March 19, 1950, in Oneonta, the daughter of Zina Ervin Burdick, Jr. and Lois J. (Yates) Burdick.

Christina was a retired hairdresser and clerical assistant.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Schermerhorn; her son, Bryan Schermerhorn (Andrea); grandchildren, Kyle William Schermerhorn and Anna Christina Schermerhorn.

Also, sisters Carrie Lynn Phillips (Smiley), and Joanne Burdick; brother, William B. Burdick (Theresa); several nieces, nephews, cousins and friend and former husband, William E. Schermerhorn.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.

  1. Hi. I am trying to find any relative of Michael A. Schermerhorn, who died recently while incarcerated in Washington County Corr. Facility. Have important info. Please contact me.
