IN TIME OF COVID-19:

Latest Cancellations:

Springfield 4th of July,

OHS Alumni Weekend

SPRINGFIELD – Springfield’s annual Fourth of July Parade, the second oldest continually running parades in the United States, has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, according to the Springfield 4th of July Committee.

The Oneonta Alumni Association has also cancelled its annual reunion, scheduled for October.

“We know you will be disappointed, as are we, but at the same time we have to keep everyone’s health and safety first,” wrote Laurie Perry Jennings,  alumni association president, “We have no idea what the fall season will bring and we just weren’t willing to take that chance.”
