ONEONTA – The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce today announced – after “great consideration” – it will continue a 34-year tradition this summer, scheduling its annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament for Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Oneonta Country Club.
A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the Community Foundation of Otsego County.
A record-breaking 144 golfers brought the Oneonta Country Club to full capacity as they arrived this morning to participate in the 13th annual Alumni Golf Tournament this morning to kick off OHS Alumni Weekend 2019. The annual alumni reception is this evening at the Armory, followed tomorrow by the inductions of Hall of Fame and Wall of Distinction honorees, followed by the annual homecoming game in the afternoon. The tournament continues tomorrow, with teams teeing off at 2:00 and finishing with a celebration dinner at the B Side Ballroom in Oneonta.
