3 Arrested In Oneonta

ONEONTA – Heroin, crack cocaine and prescription pills were seized during a Sunday morning drug bust on Rose Avenue that lead to the arrest of an Oneonta woman and two men from the Bronx.

Haley E. Cornell, 26, Oneonta, was arrested with Shakeem D.Q. Enang, 26 and Michael J. Lightly, 31, both of Bronx were arrested after a no-knock warrant at 2 Rose Avenue in the city.  Sheriff’s deputies, assisted by the Oneonta Police Department, allegedly seized a quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, Oxycodon, hydrocodone, marijuana, hypodermic needles and $1,834 in cash.

All three were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and seventh degree, and Enang and Lightly were charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree.  Additionally, both Enang and Cornell were charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Cornell was charged with Possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Enang and Lightly were remanded to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond, and Cornell was remanded on $10,000 cash/$20,000 bond.

  1. We need to talk to our children and friends kids and teach them of the deadly results of getting involved with this crap, and try to find them an alternative to this dead end drug business.
