View ‘County Manager v. County Exec’

Presentation, Now Posted On YouTube

Gerald Benjamin, SUNY New Paltz vice president/regional engagement, talks about how a Suffolk County executive ran on a plank of buying development rights in that quickly suburbanizing community; he won, then implemented the program. He was speaking this morning on the topic, “County Manager v. County Executive,” this morning at Springbrook’s new Family Engagement Center. Hartwick College President Margaret Drugovich, left, moderated the session, which was sponsored by the League of Women Voters, the Otsego and Cooperstown chambers of commerce, and the AllOTSEGO newspapers, Hometown Oneonta and The Freeman’s Journal.
