In Memoriam: Patrick H. Meanor

ONEONTA - Patrick H. Meanor, a long term professor of remarkable distinction, lost his battle with brain cancer on March 14, 2024 at Chestnut Park in Oneonta. Pat grew up in Elyria, Ohio receiving his Bachelor's degree from John Carroll University and both his Master's and Doctoral degrees from Kent State University. ONEONTA—Sylvester C. Lloyd III passed away March 10, 2024 at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born August 29, 1935 in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, the son of Sylvester C. Lloyd Jr. and Marion (Van Brakle) Lloyd. Sy grew up in New Jersey and, in 1946, his family moved to Otego. In 1954, he graduated from Otego High School as a valedictorian.
