A Madagascar hissing cockroach will be among the Utica Zoomobile’s offerings at this Saturday’s Vacation Bible School in Cooperstown.

COOPERSTOWN – To help dramatize the Noah story, the Utica Zoomobile will pay a visit to the Cooperstown Ecumenical Council’s Vacation Bible School, which for the first time will be a one-day activities, 9 a.m.-3 p.m . this Saturday, July 16, at First Baptist Church, Elm Street.

Among the visitors will be the Zoomobile’s famed “hissing cockroach,” said Pastor Dick Sliter.

The day’s theme will be “Bible Heroes,” with actors depicting not just Noah, but Moses, Joshua, David and Jesus, plus puppets, music and art.
